The Haven, Kilmacolm

With support from the fund, The Haven in Kilmacolm has expanded its reach by converting an old, unused office into a warm and welcoming two-bedroom home for men in recovery.

How the Funding Helped:

• A Safe Space to Heal: The project created private bedrooms, a shared kitchen, living area, and outdoor deck—giving residents a dignified, comfortable home environment while they go through intensive addiction support.

• Support When It Matters Most: The extra capacity helps reduce waiting lists, ensuring men ready to rebuild their lives can access help in a far more timely manner.

The Impact: By creating space for 4+ additional men each year, the project is giving more individuals in Inverclyde the tools, group support, and stability needed to achieve long-term freedom from addiction.
